Free NHS-funded Eye test

If you are unable to attend your usual optician due to any physical or mental disability, you may be entitled to a free NHS-funded full eye examination at home if you are over 60 or on benefit.

Latest portable equipment used during your home visit

Just like in your usual optician but with smaller portable high-tech equipment and within the comfort of your own home.

The optometrist will rigorously follow the NHS guideline in infection control and will be wearing for every single patient a new full protective equipment (PPE), which includes mask, apron and gloves.

The optometrist will take great care on hand hygiene and on disinfecting with alcoholic wipes all equipment and frames.

The optometrist is vaccinated and will be the only person in contact with you during the full process:  eye test, dispensing of the glasses and frame adjustments.
